I find inspiration in most everything around me.  Everyday objects are fascinating when presented in unusual light.  Curios in the morning sun or toys left behind by my son after he has gone to school reveal compositions rich in depth and color.  This body of work focuses on how light and shadow define each other and evolve into a recognizable subject.  My paintings are a focus on the balance of opposites found in the cosmos.

This Blog is the next step of sorts after completing my Masters.  Here  you can join me as I explore the new process involved in switching oil paints and renewing my love of watercolors.
